AKELLOMOLO is a brand where culture and class meet couture through bags that champion heritage and embody elegance. 

Born and raised in Kenya, for the people. Lead designer Lydia Akello Omolo has worked within the Nairobi fashion scene for years, designing, producing, and selling locally sourced, sustainably made garments and accessories.

In 2024, her niece Cydneii Lung'aho pushed her to start an Instagram, sharing her designs and her story, that she would later use as her final year dissertation to brand, market, and platform.

Each design is crafted with care - made-to-order and welcoming you into a unique experience of functionality and fashion that brings an expression of East African culture into your everyday.
